When staging a pallet on the mezzanine level, the corral gate is designed to pivot and provide an integral railing at the mezzanine's edge to prevent accidental falls. Once loaded, the gate is pivoted back to open the mezzanine deck for forklift access to the pallet from below. At the same time, the integral railing provides protection for the operator on the mezzanine from risk of personal injury.
