Friday, April 03, 2009Skippack, PA - Schmidt Structural Products has developed a new split column assembly for mezzanines that permits installations where overhead obstructions would otherwise interfere with the full column length. The advantages of Schmidt's split column are: 1) it is easier to maneuver and lift in two half-size sections; and 2) it can be designed with openings at the bolted connections to permit obstructions such as sprinkler piping to pass through....
