Sliding Gate
Sliding gates for mezzanines are available in both electric and manual options. Forklift operators can open the motorized gate by remote control, reducing labor and time. The gate works with standard screw drive openers, making the power sliding gate a safer, more easily maintained system overall. Refer to dimensional drawings.

The sliding gate spans a total length of 10 feet when closed and allows a clear opening of 5'8". The electric gate requires a total footprint of 19' when fully open (including the motor). The power sliding gate can operate in conjunction with any of Schmidt's handrail systems.
The new design requires no pallet drop guard because the gate rolls on the top of the deck instead of on the edge of the mezzanine. Manual sliding gate are also available in a 16' footprint.
